The "enable asio direct monitoring" option in the device control panel does not seem to make any difference the high performance mode (primarily for using the audio inputs) seems to cause the system to crash. I tried the following: unloaded organ opened the control panel set buffer size to 2048 left the panel open loaded the St Anne organ the m audio device control panel showed that the buffer size was reset to 1024! In Hauptwerk the Output buffer (not the recorder buffer) is set to 2048. I've tried chaning the ASIO buffer size (in the driver control panel - which can't be accessed from Hauptwerk I am unconvinced that this change has taken place since the "5152" message does not change. With Hauptwerk basic 64 bit using the ASIO 2.0 device interface all 8 output channels are visible and it produces sounds on any two of them (from Basic Hauptwerk), however then playing chords there is a terrible audio crack.
